Pet Policy

Traveling with a pet? Please contact us before booking to confirm availability of pet-friendly rooms. Pet-friendly accommodations are limited and available upon request only. A $25 + tax pet fee applies per stay. Unauthorized pets may result in additional charges.

Pet-friendly rooms are mainly available in a limited number of designated Family Rooms. The Single Queen Room is not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet, please call before booking so we can make sure the right room type is available.

Cancellation

Cancellation notice requirements depend on the type of stay:

Weekday stays: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before arrival.

Weekend stays: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before arrival.

Long weekend / holiday stays: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before arrival.

Cancellations made after the required notice period may be subject to a one-night cancellation charge. For multi-night reservations, remaining nights may be refunded.

As a courtesy, if a guest cancels after the deadline, we may try to re-rent the room. If we are able to re-rent it, a refund may be issued based on the amount recovered from the replacement booking. If the room is re-rented at a lower rate, the refund amount may be limited to the lower amount recovered.

No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM.

Guests arriving after 10:00 PM should call ahead so we can coordinate their arrival.

Late check-in after 11:00 PM may be possible if you call ahead, confirm your arrival time, and complete payment before arrival.

Payment may be taken in advance for any reservation.

Damage / Security Hold

A valid credit card may be required at check-in. A $150 credit card pre-authorization may be placed before check-in or at check-in.

A pre-authorization means the amount is temporarily held by your card provider. It is not charged unless there is damage, missing items, smoking in the room, unauthorized pets, excessive cleaning, or another policy violation.

After check-out, we inspect the room. If everything is okay, the hold is released. The time it takes to appear back on your card may depend on your bank or card provider.

Pool

No lifeguard is on duty. The pool is not supervised by Wiarton Willys Inn. Guests use the pool at their own risk.

Our outdoor pool is seasonal and open during warmer months, weather permitting.

Pool hours are 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The pool closes before quiet hours begin.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times in the pool area.

For guest safety, glass is not permitted in the pool area.

Alcohol is only permitted in the pool area with approval from the front desk. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves and leave the pool area tidy after use.

Fire Pit Guidelines

Guests are welcome to enjoy the fire pit areas during their stay. Firewood can be purchased from us, or guests may bring their own.

For safety, please make sure your fire is safely put out before leaving the area. Spread out remaining wood carefully and allow the fire to die down before walking away.

Please keep benches and seating safely away from the fire. Benches must not be placed over or above the fire, and guests must not burn chairs, benches, stumps, or anything used for seating.

During quiet hours from 11:30 PM to 9:30 AM, guests who would like to continue enjoying the evening are encouraged to use the fire pit areas farther from the rooms in the field. Music must be kept very low and only loud enough for your own group to hear.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 11:30 PM to 9:30 AM.

During quiet hours, please keep noise low near the rooms so all guests can rest comfortably.

If you’d like to keep enjoying the evening outdoors, we recommend using the fire pit areas farther from the rooms in the field. It creates a better experience for everyone: guests can relax in a more private outdoor space, while others can sleep peacefully.

Music must be kept very low during quiet hours — only loud enough for your own group to hear. Loud music, shouting, or disruptive behaviour is not permitted.

Smoking Policy

All rooms are 100% smoke-free.

Smoking, vaping, and cannabis use are not permitted inside guest rooms. A $200 penalty will be enforced if this policy is broken.

Guests may smoke outdoors with their room door closed. Smoking is not permitted in the pool area.

If smoking cannabis, please do so away from the rooms and be respectful of other guests. If other guests are nearby or uncomfortable, please move to another outdoor area of the property. We have plenty of outdoor space available for guests who smoke.
